Insurance requirements, as good as they might sound, likely won't work. The current state of Car Insurance is a good example. Those that can afford it, do. If you can't afford it, or don't want to pay it, many just don't. As long as they don't get stopped or in an accident, all is ok. But as soon as something like an ...

Moorefan,
Check your numbers. $25/1000 would be $5,825.00 for an average home, not $58.75.
Im sure you're thinking $0.25/1000.
Even at that, it would be a 20% increase in County Taxes. The County only gets $1.28/1000 now. When it was first set so low many years ago, at that level, other districts (Schools, Cities, etc.) jumped ...

Fleenor and Sorenson are supporting Handy because they want control. On January 2, 2008, the Commissioners voted for the chair position. Green moved, and Dwyer seconded, that Faye Stewart continue to be the chair. Sorenson, the vice-chair, wanted to chair, so Fleenor nominated him, and Sorenson seconded his own ...

I don't disagree with the technology, and even have GPS navigation in my car.
I did take the time to researched the web site (thanks for assuming that I hadn't) and agree that the features you point out are nice. But for me, I don't see the benefit. I've been fortunate to never have a car stolen, never locked my keys in the car, ...

Indeed this technmology exists, but at a steep price. It's a good tool for overbearing parents to track thier kids (those who don't teach common sense as talked about in your earlier posting), or if you are that worried about having your car stolen (a greater probability given Lane County's financial predicament right now).
I did ...

I noticed that I get one single ''pop-under'' once for each day I get on-line.
Today, for example, the pop-under was:

With the ''KMTR'' at the end, I was sure of the source.
While not convenient , since I have to close the window later, it won't stop me from coming to the ...

An easy test.
Were both dogs on leashes, as required by law?
If both were, this would not have happened.
It's unfortunate, but someone didn't take responsibilty to obey the law. I have 3 doxies that do not go outside our house or backyard without a leash. If an unleashed dog were to attack me and mine, I would protect mine in any way ...

Lightheart...
Some pretty bold statements about a candidate and others. Hopefully, you can provide specific incidents and examples.
But as to the statement ''Nadia Sindi who desired to stay in the race has been convieniently left off the election ballot for Lane County Comissioner this November'', you my not know the ...

I think all dog types are only as good as thier owners.
The media isn't interested in any good news about a dog who behaves.
They want to report on when a dog does bad (as a result of not being trained properly by the owner).
Bigger dogs do more damage when they attack or bite. When's the last time you saw a story about a chihuahua that ...

My spouse and I both ride motorcycles (50+ MPG). I've ridden for several years already (rain or shine). We bought another one a year ago, seeing this already coming when gas started up past $3.00 a gallon.
We have a high-mileage vehicle (45+ MPG).
We have changed our driving habits to combine trips more often.
We ...
