    On this one I have to agree...the banks and lenders were goign by what was on the paperwork..its the idiots that wrote the loan that should be shot..the inspectors that trumped the value is right there with them.

  • $270,000 for a gym..you have got to be kidding!

    Now this is a unreal waste of city money..and that should seal the deal with Kitty Piercy..she is worthless as well as the rest of her gang of idiots..Time for Jim to get in there and straighten it back out. why would the city for one, take that kind of money to build a gym for city employees when there is alot of other places they can use that..?

    Well you can thank the great City of Eugene..they forced that issue..and as far as transport time..durring certian times of the day it is acualy faster due to all freeway travel time. do I thik that River Bend is overkill..ohhh yea! but the campus ER will stay open. they arent sure on transport issues yet, but it is still new..but the trama center ...

    WEll you rare right on all the points..but it wouldnt matter, there are school full of kids still not wearing helmets..and no one seems to care much..they should spend money on incasing the politicians in a lead box..so they are real safe (and NO sound). one would think there are better things to deal with than adults making a choice to ride ...

    Buzz, I agree with you and what about all this Earmark money I hear about...why isn't any of the Oregon polititans getting in on that..I think it is a HUGE waste, but most of what the Gov does is, so why not get it for Oregon as well.

    Well being a parent of a teen aged daughter I think that if the parents consent it should be ok...School is for eduacation after all, I think that anything that the school can do to help teach responability is good for the student.
