Cursing during childbirth as a method to relieve pain

When we focus on our baby, welcoming her into our life, our focus becomes the gift of life.  Whatever we focus on becomes just that.  Birth should and can be a wonderful experience for everyone who is connected, mother and baby included.  Birth is to simply love this new little bundle of joy who is joining us here.
When we prepare ourselves for our baby's impending birth with welcome in our heart and mind we prepare ourselves for God's gift of sharing and caring - why we are all here together.  Birth is no exception to the rule of the universe, universal love.  We are just beginning to tap our human potential.  To encourage cursing during such a beautiful, gentle experience, KMTR is to undermine our human potential to give to everyone, our newest arrivals included, every moment our very best.
Participation in our child's life begins with his birth, which can and should be a gentle beginning for welcoming our newest family member.  A joyous welcome begins even before our little one's first breath.  Let's get our mindset here,  and see what our birth experience becomes worldwide, folks!
We often fear birth, because we fear pain.  When someone share's an unpleasant birth experience, they might set others up with fear that their experience will be similar.  This fear we share of childbirth is unnecessary and undesirable.  Let's share a radical new idea, of an exciting beginning of an exciting new life for someone.  Suddenly we are sharing the anticipation of happiness for someone - it takes our mind off of our discomfort for ourself.  This is universally applicable for all of our experiences here!

I agree with you fully Pam, I have 6 children and never found it neccessary to scream and curse, However i did stick my tongue out at the nurse with my last at 42, Real mature huh?. She was kinda talking too much while I'm trying to concentrate. I really needed to focus and not hear a continual voice other than my Doctor, and husband...
