I heard a vicious rumor the other day that G.I. Joe's is shutting down.  Can anyone out there confirm or deny?

I'm not going to be a happy camper if this is true.  I get my work boots there every year.

Hi Badgerr.  I read about the Parent company being in financial trouble, but have heard nothing about our local store.

Made it to Joes yesterday and, Yes; they are going out of business.

Wandered down the aisles to check the discounts.  At this date, 30% is as deep as they discount.  But Joes was never a bargin basement establishment.  It will take more than 30% discount to make these deals truely desireable.
