    Should Pit Bulls be banned?

NO, The Pit Bull breed is not a bad breed. There are no bad dogs just bad owners! All dogs should be properly trained kept in thier own fenced yards and when out with thier owners they should be ON A LEASH. All dogs have the potential to bite.

Re: Should Pit Bulls be banned?

No, pit bulls should not be banned. I do not, nor have ever owned this type of dog, but it appears the problem stems from lack of education of the precautions and responsibilities required in owning this type of dog.

Has anyone considered that one possible solution might be to require owners of pit bulls (and other such types of dogs) to hold a license in order to own such a dog? Such a license would be obtained through a certified training course.
