bluecup:I was in a restaurant having lunch with a friend this week and they had made a mistake in preparing my food. It was perfectly edible, but has a salsa that is a bit to spicey for my taste so I asked them to make mine without. I was horrified to find out that when I returned my meal - untouched - they threw it in the trash! Why aren't these meals being donated to the local homeless shelters? There is no excuse for throwing perfectly good prepared meals in the trash.
They throw it away because you're too selfish to do your job and come pick it up and deliver it to the homeless shelters. Where were you when they were forced to throw the food away?
Seriously though, what kind of question is this? If it bothers you, get off your ass and do something, don't just sit there and complain that "someone" should be out doing this or that. What are YOU doing?
