On this evening’s newscast the announcer stated that members of the basketball team were accused of making racial slurs at the state tourney. Is this true?
I haven’t followed it that closely but I was under the impression from the Red Guard story that it was obnoxious students and fans. I would appreciate any clarification.

The report by the superintendent of the Eugene school district is now out and the findings are that students from both North Eugene and Churchill directed racial slurs at visiting students from Roosevelt in Portland.
