Should Diane Downs be Paroled?

This just happened! What do you mean it has been 25 years? I completely remember this like it was yesterday, and the thought of that woman being free again just makes me physically sick. I have never met Diane, or any member of her family and yet this memory is so clear. I can only imagine how vivid this memory is for her children that are still alive. Do you think they're ready for her yet?

What SHE DID should never be forgotten or excused, and paroling her from prison is letting her have a life again. A life that she doesn't deserve, and should not have a chance to live again. She should not have a voice, or an opinion, or rights, or comfort, or joy, or happiness, or anything else that is a privledged. She doesn't deserve it, and she took it from her babies. Shame on her. I hope she continues to sit on the cold slab she's on, and will stay there until the day she dies because that is what she deserves.

The DUII local story

I have a two fold forum suggestion. One is for discussion on our local, state and federal gov. to make it a law that if you have one DUII that a engine interlock is mandatory, and anyone who lets you borrow a vehicle knowing you have a DUII be charged as an accessory....Also why is it manslaughter and not vehicular homicide?

I also have another suggestion for discussion, on how a dead beat father can file a lawsuit, and try to take advantange of a tragedy to further his financial interests. I am talking about the local tragedy of Jakobi, his mom Heather and his deadbeat dad. And what kind of low life lawyer would accept that case too?

He goes to the important meeting he had to attend that was in the way of his campaigning.

He says nothing in the meeting???

Then he announces that he has won the Debate, before he announces that he has changed his mind and will be attending the debate?

I can't suggest a new forum, but I have some suggestions for forum features.

1. Email alerts. It's nice to get an email that says somebody replied to your post, whether you started a new thread or contributed to an existing one. This allows you to continue a discussion. The way it's set up now, your threads are very short. Why? You don't allow people to get back to where they were, and it's hard to remember all the threads one has participated in.

2. Links. Open links in new windows and leave the board open behind it. Some of the links have links in them. If you get lost in all of them, getting back to the board is troublesome. Leave the board open. Open links in new windows.

3. Smileys. I love smileys. Pictures are worth a thousand words, yet you show a list of descriptions to choose from, not images. How ironic!

4. Subscriptions. Why subscribe to a whole board? Sometimes you just want to subscribe to a thread.

5. Spell checking. Make my life easier, eh? That's what computers do best -- repetitious, simple tasks.

You have a problem too. Try posting, and before you're done, click the tab 'related' above the post. You get taken out of your post, and lose all your work! That's bad. Bad, bad, bad.

Need a real board? Try SMF version 1.4.1 http://www.simplemachines.org/ These are great boards and they're free. They work flawlessly, are easy to maintain, and easy to modify or customize.

Buying a new vehicle

Careful of all deals!! Gauranty in JUnction city sold me a car, we signed papers, was to return 2 days later with down payment and full coverage insurance. morning about 30 minutes before we were to go salesman phoned and announced that my car had been sold to some one else but they would be glad to help us into a different one and that they had a few others that were a bit more but would work for us. After we declined. and were extremely angry a day later we started recieving letters from numerous comapnaies stating that we were declined for the Auto loan. a week now has passed receiving about 4 decline letters daily. when we called Gaurantey they said that they'd still finance us with all origanal finance companies and doesnt understand why were getting the letters. Yesterday the manager phoned us asking us if we'd like to come out and see if theres something else he could help us with excluding the origanol car and excluding help on prcedures to remove said declines from our credot reports.

Community events such as Saturday's parade? In fact, the multitude of Christmas parades and smaller events that occurred over this past weekend -- that would be fun. Or perhaps that is included in the holiday gallery. I'm new here, just figuring things out.
