<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://community.kmtr.com/rss.xsl" media="screen"?><rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:slash="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/" xmlns:wfw="http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"><channel><title>Food and Drink</title><link>http://community.kmtr.com/forums/839/ShowForum.aspx</link><description>Let’s talk about the good and bad around town</description><dc:language>en-US</dc:language><generator>CommunityServer 2.0 (Build: 60217.2664)</generator><item><title>Thurston Quiznos</title><link>http://community.kmtr.com/forums/thread/3985203.aspx</link><pubDate>Wed, 29 Apr 2009 22:32:44 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">7599f546-9829-4584-83a0-fe3551f0410d:3985203</guid><dc:creator>badgerrr</dc:creator><slash:comments>0</slash:comments><comments>http://community.kmtr.com/forums/thread/3985203.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>http://community.kmtr.com/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=839&amp;PostID=3985203</wfw:commentRss><description>I've had Quiznos subs prior to today.&amp;nbsp; Quality is pretty high.&amp;nbsp; Compared to Subway (the standard bearer of the industry) the food is a bit more expensive, but you do get that extra quality for the money.&amp;nbsp; If one is in the mood for a truely good Sub, the franchise can set you up most anywhere.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Today we had a coupon and wanted to grab a couple quick sandwiches.&amp;nbsp; "Let's go up to the Thurston one".&amp;nbsp; So we came in from the West on Main street.&amp;nbsp; But as I had never been to store #10871 was blissfully unaware that actually getting a vehicle to the location would be such a challenge.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Twixt cement barriers on the street and a small lawn planted in front of the resturant; there is no front access.&amp;nbsp; We drove past, intending to turn around in a parking lot - get back on main - turn at 7/11 and attempt to explore a back alley way in.&amp;nbsp; But once in the neighbors parking lot, it looked like we could pioneer our way to the rear without Main Street.&amp;nbsp; After a little exploration, we found ourselves looking at a small parking area in the back.&amp;nbsp; Yup we made it and got our sandwiches (which were quite good).&amp;nbsp; We were almost the only customers.&amp;nbsp; I was not surprised.&amp;nbsp; When it's this hard for customers to actually get to an establishment, it doesn't bode well for business.&amp;nbsp; Who ever laid out the parking/access situation for Thurston Quiznos clearly wants this place to fail.&amp;nbsp;&lt;i&gt; An employee advised me that the owners were going to pull out after the City put in the barrier on the street but were assured it would be removed.&amp;nbsp; So they stayed.&lt;/i&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;b&gt;Of course, the barrier is still there.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;(In short, if coming in to this business from the west, turn left before 7/11 and work your way in from the back)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
