I also think it's problematic that the votes from two of the most populous states, Michigan and Florida, are not being counted because the democratic party has declared that thou shalt not hold thy primary in January? Is that really the reason?

That seems like a pretty arbitrary reason for ignoring millions of votes, especially since the voters in those states didn't get to pick their primary date. They just showed up and picked their candidate. Hoe come Obama is such a stickler for rules when it seems unfair and contrary to the spirit of Democracy?

It doesn't matter *which* party. It seems that the "arm-chair & coffee"(or whatever swill, bites their brain-cells into locomotion during all these late night primaries, or nightly news shots, or weekend commentaries) guess-timator's need to take a serious look at their methods about counting hens and roosters before their time--helps them accept some of the fall-out when the people mess with their seriously, thought-out poll questions. Especially, about round the times when they tend to call.

I truly hate it when I'm pretty much told by these *individuals* (I say this, politely) what I may as well put down as being "written in stone"..."but don't quote me on that". Oh no! Never! Huh, huh...

Good as *GOLD*.

(And you can *quote* me on that...just that last sentence of course...)

Only if you think "the national media" should be able to decide who the Democratic nominee is. Or course, if they get to decide that, why not just let them tell us who will win the actual election. Why go through all the effort and expense of picking a President, when the 'national media' can do it for us?

There seems to be a big push, amongst the national media, to proclaim the Democratic primary over, despite the fact that nobody has enough votes yet to secure the nomination. What do you think? Should Hillary stay in? Are you glad she is staying in for the Oregon primary? Let us know.
