Nice piece Hope..I watched the session and was as affected as the rest..thank you for not putting a page of stats but rather an way for th erest of us to see for our selves..I wish that they would put the Judge and D.A. on some of these tv spots maybe that would get the people to think..and I agree that they need to put back what they took for at least the next 4 years they get the payments..in this economy they can't rely on more funding from the people..with the job loss, homes being forclosed and a tight economy..this isnt the time to bring that up. but maybe in a cpl years it will be?

But I dont think the pork is in the jail, D.A.'s office or in the sherrifs department.. The county did that huge concrete meeting space in the front of the courthouse, that to me was a waste..then they ask for more funding? sometimes im not sure what they think? but I think they should increase fines, fees and start siezing property and cash from the offenders to pay for th eservices that these people seem to not want?
