I use Direct TV Satillite.

Channel 9 KEZI & Channel 13 KVAL are always good for volume & signal.

Channel 16 KMTR is alway low in volume & i sometimes loose the signal.

on a scale of 1 thur 100 on my TV --channel 16 has to be on 75 even with the booster i have.

channel 9 & 13 are on 25-30 on the volume scale ,without the booster ,of my TV and the signal is always strong

I Like channel 16 KMTR the best & i try to watch it the most.

bucknife, sorry about the problems you've been experiencing.  I've spoken to one of our engineers, and he would like to speak to you a bit further, to help you.  If you call our station at (541) 746-1600 and ask for Carl Sundberg, he can try and get this worked out for you.

First mistake was using Direct TV. Dish Network is perfect.

I also have DirecTV and have called them MANY times regarding NBC.  It is always pixelated and drops out of signal.  I am very fed up with it. Is it a Directv problem or a KMTR problem???  I am in Cottage Grove.  Thank you.

I have good news for you DirecTV folks. This weekend, we are switching out our HD box to clear up the problem. We were told by DirecTV that on Tuesday they will be switching out their receiver. With the two equipment changes, this should clear up the problem.

I still am continually getting bad reception for just your channel and have DirectTV.  Every other channel is fine.  Is there anything I can do?  This would be my favorite channel, if only I could watch it!  This is constant, and it happens almost every night for the primetime shows.

Channel 16 is STILL not working for me.  What should we do? Who do we contact?  It is really annoying and I have been having trouble for like a year now!  When will it be available in HD for Directv? Would that fix the problem?? Help...

I'm also on DirecTV and the signal is analog quality from the early 90's with an attempt to digitize it poorly. The sound drops out more frequently than the picture but it's still very poor quality compared to other national networks.

So far tonight I've missed a quarter of the Miss Universe 2008 broadcast.

I have Direct TV too -- really like it -- but I have the same problem with KMTR,  At various times loss of sound and pixelation of the signal as if in a heavy snowstorm -- when the weather is perfect ( the last time was Monday night from about 10 - 10:30PM on).

Happened again this morning 6 AM when my set came on  -- sound was basically one syllable every 5-10 seconds.  Finally cleared up at about 6:15AM.
