Website not fully compatible with Firefox

This website looks awful in my Firefox browser! It looks fine in Safari.
Look at the screenshots below to see how it looks to me when I  view the main News page. Also looks like that on the Home, Weather, Sports pages, as well as Consumer Alerts, What's Going Around, and more. The screenshots are from the top, middle and bottom of the main News page.
Another thing: the wysiwyg text editor does not work properly. For instance, when I'm composing this in the editor, the sentence below is in bold, but when I preview and post the ad, it comes out not bold.

OS X 10.4.9, Firefox 1.5.0.11, no adblockers or javascript blockers enabled.

That is odd.  I use Firefox on both a Mac and a PC and the website looks fine in both.  Is your text size set to normal?  Are you using any Firefox extensions that may be ruining the site?

As for the text editor, Your Corner is built on Community Server.  Your issues in Firefox have to do with their software package, and until they update it you may want to switch to Internet Explorer to do your typing.

Re: Website not fully compatible with Firefox?

     Huh.

I can't think of any extensions that would cause this. As stated, I turned off my adblocker and enabled javascript. If I make the text smaller, the format remains the same and I still have that large blank area at the top. Well, if it's just my browser, then I'll have to live with it. Sad

As for using I.E, that is NOT an option. Now that I've gotten wise and converted to Mac, I never want to use I.E. again, and will never install it on my computer. Computer

    Thanks Buzz.
