Why are so many of the forums inaccessible?  If I click on "Politics" for instance, I'm told that there are either no posts or a filter is preventing access. There are posts; I can click on the most recent one and view it. Whta's happening here?

Howdy Gardener.

I popped over to Politics to see how things went on MY end.  First time I tried to pull up a thread, the screen was just blank and wouldn't load.  Backed out and hit a different thread and it connected.  Backed out again and hit a different thread, and it worked again.  Pulled up a couple more threads after that.

From past experiance I can say that this forum is a bit glitchy.  But it runs in spurts.  For me, the place often won't upload my entries.  It can be this way for daze.  Then it's running like a champion, for no apparent reason.  So you might wanna retry Politics and see if it will come up for you now.

I think "glitchy" understates it.  I was trying to get back to the Gateway thread you posted on awhile back. Can't get it.  I have found that if the folder next to the forum name doesn't show a piece of paper in it that folder is inaccesible.  It's a mystery to me, but then most of this computerese stuff is a mystery to me.  I'm still just wingin' it.  Great place to sound of tho, yes?

Sorry about that.  Just yesterday I noticed the same thing was happening.  I've put a note into our web master.

And thanks to Gardener for helping to liven up this old place.  Think this could be a great place to discuss LOCAL stuff, as well as national and global.  I've tried to do my part, but found I was monopolizing things....which could be off-putting to new members.  So I've been deliberately backing off a bit.  And it looks like some folk are coming in!
