    A Question for Joseph

I seem to observing a pattern that has persisted at least since last spring.  The temperature seems to fluctuate more rapidly than "normal". For instance, today we will be lucky to get out of the low 30's, but it was 52 two days ago. The low on Tuesday morning was 40; tomorrow you're predicting the teens.  Last summer was similar, with rapid fluctuations from low 80's to over 100.  While there is probably no such thing as "normal", how unusual is this pattern?

    Re: A Question for Joseph

Your observations are real and it's happening all over the world.  We are seeing more variability and extremes in our weather patterns.  This is one of the major factors that are a result of Global Warming or more accurately Global Climate Change.  If you read the research that is being published by the world’s best climate scientist they all point to more extreme weather and more fluctuation in our weather.  Welcome to our new climate.

    Re: A Question for Joseph

Thank you, Joseph!  They used to say in San Francisco, "If you don't like the weather just move a couple of blocks." Now it's just wait a couple of days, I guess.  Makes it hard to adapt for those of us who work outside though.
