Dave Wenda no longer works for KMTR. Darren Fabre has taken
his place as the head sports anchor, and Scott Fleishman is the new
"weekend" anchor.
I put weekend in quotes because the philosophy of sports has changed. The
feeling is that so much happens in the sports world on Saturday, that Darren
wanted to be here for the weekend, and have Scott take over on some of the
lighter days during the week. That is why you may have been mistaken in thinking that
Scott had taken Dave's position, because he will anchor during the week on
occasion.
On a side note Friday Night Fever is making a big winter comeback this Friday.
