    Texas Holdum Online...Shafted

In order to play a few $1, $2, $3 tournaments we sent off about $100 to Party Poker a few months back.

Daze later, the Fed Government made it about impossible to get ones money back out of these offshore poker sites.  Made it impossible to cash checks from them in U.S. banks.  Thanks a lot.

Anybody else get snared in this little latest attempt of the Govenment to save us from ourselves?

I have had a similar thing happen to me.  I play at Full Tilt.  In Febuary, the US government ceesed the assets of Neteller which is an on line ewallet company.  Anyone with a US address could no longer be able to us this ewallet company or even get the money they had in their Neteller account.  I have $160 sitting in a trust account doing nothing.  In April, Neteller struck a deal with the US that in 75 days a plan would be draw up to get all the money sitting in limbo to the customers of Neteller.  We are suppose to be able to get our $$$ starting on July 13.

Party Poker no longer allows US customers due to the company being a publicly traded company.  Privately owned (Full Tilt) does allow US players play and to deposit and withdrawal $$$.
