My vote would go to Chapala.  (the one at 68w  29th ave)

Our awesome sales team goes to Chapala on occasion (say someone's birthday), and on occasion takes me along.  We go to the one in Oakway Center.  You are right, it is very good.  May I suggest their Chile Rellenos.

Another good place is off of Goodpasture Island Lp (across from Kendal Auto Center).  It's called Los Dos Amigos.  Really good food there. 

My vote is Los Dos Amigos and Chapala...love them both

My two favorites are-

Sit-down meal: Los Dos Amigos (off Delta Hwy across from Kendall Auto Sales)

To-go: Las Brasas (between 5th and 6th on Blair Blvd.)

In Cottage Grove: Toreros

In Eugene: Chapala

To Go: A veggie from Burrito Amigos

I have tried several Mexican restaurants in Sprinfield, and Eugene... I have gotten horribly puking sick after every one of them... I think my Scot/Italian breeding doesn't go well with Mexican...

Too bad, I do love hot and spicy.......Food.

El Ray's deserves honorable mention here.  Turns out, we now eat there more often than Chapala.  The food is very nearly as good ,and, for us, they are much closer to home.
