Anyone have any thoughts on the trials?  I was lucky to have been able to work at the trials in our tower, doing some of the live shots for the news.  I was shocked the first time I saw one of the long jumpers, and how far they could go.

I was amazed the day I did the park and ride at Autzen at how many cars were in the parking lot.

I was thankful to the NBC cameraman Jose Hernandez for everything he taught me when it came to lighting and camera work.

Great 10 days for sure.

I was luck enough to photograph the Athletes that made the Track and Field Olympic Team. I spent a lot of time at the trials and was amazed of all the stuff that goes on behind the seen that a lot of people don’t think about or just don’t know about. I had put in for Credentials last year for a photographers pass. Last Jan I was denied Credentials because they do not give Credentials to Free Lance Photographers. Last May USA Track and Field (USATF) contacted me and offered one of their two spots as there Official Team Photographers for the trials. My friend that also was denied was offered the same. We took Official Portraits of all the Athletes that made the USA Olympic Team. We also were able to get a ton of photos down on the field at Hayward Field. Got to meet lots of great people and enjoyed every second.
